We Need Your Prayers!

I admitted Lurch (Larry) to the hospital today. He is in congestive heart failure and only 20% of his heart is pumping blood. He is being stabilized now. They will perform heart bypass surgery on Friday. Please pray for my precious Larry and his family. I will be away from blogging for a week or so, but I can get comments on my Iphone.

My Daddy died during heart bypass surgery so this is especially traumatic for our family!

Malisa, I was just checking in on the never ending story before going to bed. Know that I will be offering up a prayer for all of you and asking for God to cover you with his strength, love and power. Please know I will continue to pray until he is safely home. My mother had bypass surgery at 70 and recovered and he will too. I know I'm talking to deaf ears, but please take care of yourself too. Debbie

Malisa, know my thoughts and prayers our w/ you and your family as you go through this. I waited as my husband went through bypass about 10yrs ago. I was so scared, but now I pray Larry does as well as he did.

Malisa, I left some thoughts for you last night, but I guess this silly blogger dropped them. I want you to know you and your family are in my heart, my mind, and in my prayers. I pray God will cover you all with His strength and power and watch over you all. I will be thinking of you tomorrow. I also will be asking for God's hands on the surgeon's. Try and take of yourself as well. Let me know what you need and if it is in my power to give it, I will. Love, Debbie

Hey Malisa,
The best thing about anything with the heart these days is that they can "fix it". You've got to "know" and believe that things will work out just fine. You've got a lot of us that care a great deal about you and you've got many prayers headed your way. You take care, and I know things will work out fine! Take care, Sue

Malisa, I left a comment late last nite, but I guess it didn't post. I want you to know you and Larry have been in my prayers since I read your post. My husband had bypass surgery about 10yrs ago. He is doing well. Am praying the same for Larry.

I am praying for your family. I agree with Sue. So many miraculous recoveries are common that a few years ago wouldn't have been possible. Prayers for a better, stronger, healthier Larry after surgery. Pam

Prayers to you and your family. It is a good thing he is getting this done. My daddy ignored his heart and died of a massive heart attack at the age of 49. I learned a lesson from that. I want to be around for a while. I am sure everything will go well for Larry.
