Friday Favorite Family Fotos!

I don't know what year this photo was taken.
I am assuming that it was in the 60's.
My Dad died during heart bypass surgery
Here, he is pictured playing hockey
with my cousin Glenda's
cute little blonde son, Ray Dean.
In addition to the sentimental value of this photo,
do you know why this picture is featured here today?

Ray Dean, this cute little boy, grew up to be Dr. Ray Page,
a specialist in oncology,
who has worked diligently this last year
in helping my Mother combat cancer!
This cute little blonde boy has given
my Mother another year of life!

Which brings me to this photo....
this is a fabric collage I made for
Ray's oldest daughter, Julia,
who graduated from high school last week.

I wish the best to Julia...
I hope that you follow in the footsteps of your family...
doing good and making your mark in the world!
Your package should arrive this week.
Congratulations!

You never know what will happen in life. There is always a reason for someone to be in our lives, whether to influence, or as in this case, to help.

Love the collage gift. I will have to keep that one in mind. I may make one for my daughter's room. She will be a Junior at Baylor this Fall and is moving off campus.

HOly heck, he's been treating your mother. That is simply a beautiful circle.

Now, who won that intense hockey match?
