Bump In The Road...

On the road to Zapp Hall Antique Show,
there have been some bumps in the road.
We just had a major bump this week.

I am playing catch up here,
so I don't have time to explain right now.

How about a quick scenario?

Sick dog

Lurch takes dog to vet

Lurch and sick dog gone long time

Daughter-in-law goes to vet

Finds Lurch and dog in car

Lurch in diabetic coma

Car doors are locked

Emergency workers everywhere

Break out car window

Blood sugar 29

Tubes, IVs, injections

Very shaken daughter-in-law

Very breezy car

Very upset dog

Very lucky husband

So, as you can see, life has been busy here.
Yet, there is life.
And a new car window.
And a husband and dog in recovery.

Yes, we are continuing down the road.
We are a few days behind in our travel plans.
We make adjustments and keep on route.
Our next three days will be extremely busy
playing catch up...

but we will get there!

Can't wait to see all my wonderful friends!

I'm your biggest fan and cheering you on every step of the way! They say life gives us "tests". I don't know about you, but I'm getting really tired from all these "tests"! You take care my friend and remember, "every little thing is gonna be alright"!!

OMG! I'm glad that both are alright. How awful this must have been for them. I'm so relieved they were rescued.

Take care. Things will get better.

Oh my darling girl...I wasn't expecting to read anything like this, but once again God has y'all in His powerful hands watching over you. I know it will be tough, but I also know you are one tough cookie! I'll be keeping you in my heart, thoughts and prayers until I see you....and even then I won't stop!

P.S. You forgot one little thing...you mentioned everyone but you. How are you?

M, so glad everyone is okay, despite the broken window, which can be replaced. See you soon, T

Does it ever end, Malisa? Even though I see you're forging ahead with your usual optimism, I'm so sorry.
