I really don't like the word
DOWNSIZING!
Simplify...
yeah, maybe I can live with that word...
SIMPLIFY!
There has been some serious discussion
going on in my house about relocation and
SIMPLIFYING!
Talk of change always brings about
thoughts of our simple plans...
(designed by Danica Kus, photo from inhabitat.com)
for the barn house!
A simple design that blends with nature...
(designed by Olson Kundig, Architect)
made from SIMPLE materials...
galvanized metal, glass and barn wood.
One thing we are positive about is that we want
our barn house to have...
(Sixx Designs)
walls of garage doors!
(Sixx Designs)
Garage doors let nature come in...
(Sixx Designs)
while allowing Lurch and the grandkids
to roller skate right out!
SIMPLE materials can make quite
a statement, huh?
(fireplace by Edilkamen)
Forget the walls and balcony...
just concentrate on the fireplace!
For my taste, the fireplace opening needs
to be twice as big and it would be perfect
for my dream barn house!
(fireplace by finehomebuilding.com)
Or would this one look better?
It would have to be open on both sides though!
Everything will go well with a SIMPLE concrete floor!
The blood stains from Lurch roller skating
will wipe right up!
(fireplace by blacktomato.co.uk)
Look at this gorgeous, SIMPLE
outdoor fireplace!
What barn house garden would be
complete without one?
So, while change is tough,
there are some inspirational thoughts
to keep one focused on one's goals!
Glad I could share my thoughts
with you today, my friends!
