Stranger Danger!

Today is Day Eight of
Thirty Days of Photography II.

Today's photo topic: STRANGER

Let's see how well you know me now.

Which one of these two people is the stranger?

Yes. You are right. The chick on the right.

The chick on the left is Mike who isn't a chick. He and his wife have the booth across from our booth, Pent-Up Photos, at the Zapp Hall Antique Show.  He and his wife use vintage pieces of common day items from long ago and use them to create beautiful works of art. Most of their  artwork carries the label of industrial. Their art work is beautiful.

So are Mike's legs.

I only see Mike dressed like this twice a year for the famous the Junk Gypsy Junk-O-Rama Prom. Who says that Texas is conservative? I do. Texas is ultra conservative. However, no one who attends the Junk-O-Rama Prom is concerned with being conservative. Well, maybe they are, but they leave early before the prom really gets going.

The Zapp Hall Antique Show and the Junk Gypsy Junk-O-Rama Prom is part of Texas Antique Week which is one of the two biggest antique shows in the country. It is a big deal.

Like Mike's boobs.

Who is the chick on the right? I haven't the foggiest. I know that she has a great prom dress and her head dress is the bomb! You know that junkers have this weird fascination with vintage doll parts, right? Well, now you know.

You might be wondering if Mike's costume ever changes? Yes and no. I know that every year he wears the same dress and heels, but the dress seems to get shorter and shorter every year while his boobs seems to get larger and larger.

This year his boobs lit up.

Lots of folks were lit.

Now that I am back from prom,
I'm gonna catch up on all the other participants' photos.
