Okay, I have some weird food addictions! Do you? I have to confess that most of my favorite foods are not healthy! Surprise! Those of us raised in Texas tend to have the "chicken-fried" everything mentality. Yes, I am one of those people! However, I will admit that I have not tried some of the state fair favorites: chicken-fried snickers or chicken-fried bacon...but one of these days...never mind. I think I just lost a few readers...all those skinny, healthy people just ran to the bathroom to purge! But I did get the attention of a few of you, didn't I? So let's confess...to our favorite weird food choices. Here is mine:
Peanut Butter and Bacon on Toasted Pumpernickel
Yes, you heard me right! Slap that peanut butter on the toast while it is still hot and load 'er up with bacon! Cholesterol? Fat? No! And why do I have my two favorite food items in front of a giant A? Because that is what my ass looks like from having eaten this combo for years! That's right. I said it before you could! Now what is your favorite weird food choice?

Liver, onions, egg noodles, and pie cherries! Stacked high. I haven't had it in years because my husband doesn't want to smell it! Doesn't even want to see it!
I don't get an old photo with this one?

You are pulling my leg...right? Are you serious about this? How in the world did you ever think of this concoction?
Old photo comes tomorrow! Rest yo brain! :)

Ok I could taste yours...but Chers? LOL LOL
Oh land sakes LOL
PeanutButter and banana on Wonder bread.
Not too odd but no one else I know will eat this.
Nothing weird, just excessive. I made a blueberry cheesecake for company the other day (ya, right) and now it's crying all lonely in the fridge. What's a compassionate girl to do?
How do I top those? I'm weird, but y'all have got me beat hands down. My secret vice is potatoe chips and cottage cheese, but that seems pretty ho hum compared to cherries on liver and onions(although I do love liver & onions). I have a friend though who loves pancakes, butter, syrup and chili! Just thought I would throw that in for gits and shiggles. Tn'T
I can think of lots of "taboo" foods, but probably not so weird... peanut butter and marshmellow fluff sandwiches, Hershey's chocolate bar dipped into peanut butter. Okay, one of my FAVORITES- Doritos or potato chips used as a scoop for eating cottage cheese, out of the carton, naturally! One of the weirdest I've heard from a friend is a mashed potato sandwich. Talk about carbs with a slab of carbs! Haha.
Nathalie Thompson sent me this one too. Funny!
One more for you… my college room mate would eat thin mint Girl Scout cookies with mustard!
I tried it. It wasn’t revolting, but not what I would normally crave. Haha
Well, I thought I responded last night. Wacky computer. I like fritos and chocolate cake. Something about that salty and sweet combo that makes my mouth water! ~Mindy
I can't think of anything to match your weird food and some of the above, BUTT, oops spelled that wrong, that big ASS "A" sitting in the picutre above is hysterical in the context you used it! Thanks for making me smile! Take care, Sue
omg...here is "licker" again...I guess that is what I get when I am a bit behind in posting! :)
Hey darlin' you askin' the wrong gal...I'm from the bayous of Louisiana so you can just imagine what we have been known to eat!
Let's just say our gumbo was not "seafood" (since we didn't live on the coast) ours was whatever Papa happen to shoot that day! (don't ever try and eat a woodpecker or a black squirrel because they DO NOT taste like chicken!)
Does that help answer the question???? xo...deb
I love potato chips on pizza. AND ketchup on my chik-fil-a sandwich (which Lauri thinks is weird).

After these food cobo's cracker's and milk sound normal.
wait, I'm still trying to figure out what THAT would taste like.
Hellooooooo...Thank you for stopping by, posting, and giving me a link.........I shall do the same. You have a great wit........which is highly praised in my book. With wit and words.......you can get out of, or into any situation. Now.........my favorite weird food combo would have to be a dollop of maynonaise on just about everything..........especially on rice, chicken, and as an ingredient in cake. It's my condiment of choice and condemnation. Oh, and I love to play little known facts......... you never know when they may come in handy.
Now I know I love you......Only a fellow chubby would post about food.....and that p.butter and bacon is sounding pretty dam good.....here in the south with love anything fried and if we don't fry it we put fat back in it. I just got done cooking some collards, and cornbread. I know that aint weird, but alot of people don't like it. but, I could eat my weight in collards. I think I'll bring some when we come over in the Spring. And Gin plenty of Gin. Love ya,Lauri @ chippys
Sauerkraut and chili--yum

Yes, I'm serious about the liver, onions, egg noodles, and pie cherries! I didn't think of it. My mother served it all the time when I was little. Apparently HER mother served it too. Don't know if they had canned pie cherries back in grandma's day but that's what my mother used and then me. They were German, which might - or might not - have anything to do with it!
Do you want a letter certifying this from my sister? I mean, I write fiction, afterall!

Momma taught me not to point but the mouse ran under there.
