The Hat Says It All!

Do you wear a hat...
or does the hat wear you?

Madisyn's hat says
"I'm a Texas girl"...

Tango's hat just emphasizes
his body language,
"I'm cool! Don't mess with me"...

Cash's hat is saying
"Look how grown up I am!
No, those aren't baby cheeks,
I'm just retaining milk!"

I think I get to see this stylish crew
in the month of June!
It has been seven months
and Grammy needs to kiss
those milk retaining cheeks...
and high five Tango and tell him
that he is indeed cool...
and hug my Texas mini-me!

"Our grandchildren accept us for ourselves,
without rebuke or effort to change us,
as no one in our entire lives has ever done,
not our parents, siblings, spouses, friends-
and hardly ever our own grown children."

Love the photoes of your sweet grandchildren. And the quote, realy touched my heart,-I think it is ever so true, and what I`m feeling when together with my own grandchildren- for as long as it may last, it is the biggest joy.

Hugs, Dorthe

The realtionship between grandparents and grandchildren is truly priceless. My Seth, who is now 20, was SO devoted to my mother, his Mimi! He adored her to his core! Sadly, she passed away 5 years ago and we have felt the void every day, but Seth I think has mourned for her so hard...when she was in ICU for 6 weeks, Seth was in high school then, and he would go and stay overnight in the ICU waiting room, sometimes by himself...my heart still breaks for him...he loved her so much.

Okay, girlfriend, I am bawling now so I will sign off by saying...

Kiss those sweet cheeks and give hugs and listen and boast and brag on those babies! I know I will when I have them...

Much love to you...

Lou Cinda :)
