OMG, what the hell do you drive? An 18 wheeler? Scary. But powerful.

I was thinking the same thing. I have no idea what takes this much gas...but I'm glad I don't have to feed it!

I could have lived quite happily without seeing this glowing red reminder of who really holds all the cards. (I do like the way your mind works.)

Whew. That is a gas guzzler whatever that is. Wow.

Petrol prices wield more power over me than anything else, other than beavers that is.

I sure am glad my tank only holds 30 gallons. Ours was up to $4.09 the other day. Highway robbery!!

Bet seriously? What were you filling up?

And this is why I only drive tiny German cars that get good mileage, because ours is now $8,50/gallon.. ;)

Wow, Ziva. Holy fuckballs. That would suck. I'd have to downgrade to an SUV.

Need to get glasses! I thought the title of this was "Power of the Fewl" and I thought "fuwl?"; is that Texas spelling for "gas"?

Are you filling your own tanker truck to keep the price under $4 for awhile??

*still staring at those numbers 3 hours after originally coming here*

Are you providing fuel for a small country?

Gas ought to be $8-$10 a gallon, like it is in Europe. Then Americans would conserve a little. And anybody who says we can solve the problem by drilling holes all over the place isn't thinking. We don't get to set gas prices. The world does, by demand.

Oh, sorry. I keep that speech in my coat pocket and pull it out whenever somebody says anything about gas.

I'm quite popular, as you might imagine.

I agree with you, Mike.

Except for diesel.

Kristen said...

Are you going to tell us what the hell you were filling up?

Mike - I agree with you. However... As someone who lives in BFE - I can't get anywhere without driving. Now, we drive small cars (nissan sentra) and a minivan because - well, we don't all fit in the sentra. But.... I can't get to work without driving. And in Europe, there is no midwest or expansive places like that.

just my 2 cents. :)

This is got to be for the truck that hauls windmills and Lurch around :-)

Very strong image :-)
