Remember, the good old days?
There was no recession...
almost everybody was poor.
Life was laid back and easy.
You got to stay home instead
of going to day care.
We used our imagination instead of
our thumbs on the remote control.
There wasn't a trouble
in the world...
except when your Mama
called you to come in!
These pictures are of me...
back in the good old days!
Me and my babies
rockin' in my red rocker
Our parents were best friends,
but we had Mickey Mouse...
and Humpty Dumpty!
we were the lawn sprinklers!

Do you think we might be twins and seperated at birth. You've seen my little blonde photos as a kid that age. Do you see a bit of a resemblence? Wow, I knew there was a reason I liked you!
Love the pics! Just darlin'! ~Mindy
Oh thank you so much for the trip down memory lane. I have old photos, too, that depict a more secure, serene time in life. Your photos are darling.

Your photos, I mean, YOU are adorable! I love your pics today. I especially love the caped hero pic, with your Mom watching through the screen door.

I'd kill for that Humpty Dumpty! ... well, maybe not kill, just maim a little.
Such great memories these photos brought back, my Chuck was Superman with a towel around his neck everyday...lol..back when kids played without using their fingers only.

Hello Malisa, I loved your photos depicting the ways of old. Those were the days when life was simpler. You are the cutest little thing. I loved you in the rocker with your dolls the best. So cute.
Hugs...Jeanne
My friend had that Humpty Dumpty doll. Children don't have the imagination anymore that we had. My children are 20 and 17. They had very good imaginations because they were forced to have one growing up. We did not buy them a lot of things for that reason. I remember being the sprinkler too.
Yep...those were the good old days and I miss them at times. I try to acquaint my grandchildren with what Grandma did back when she was a little girl...much like what you have pictured. Great pictures! Thank you for sharing.
