Day 38...Are You Ready For Some Football?

"Some people think football is
a matter of life and death.
I assure you, it's much more
serious than that."
--Bill Shankly--

"Football players,
like prostitutes,
are in the business
of ruining their bodies
for the pleasure of strangers."
--Merle Kessler--

If you know me,
you know I LOVE football!
I married a player...
gave birth to two players...
can't wait for my grandsons to
start playing...
and never miss my
Texas Tech Red Raider games!

Thanks to my friend, JoAnn,
for the photo of early day
Coldspring Eagles!

I will leave you with
a quote and a thought.

"When I played pro football,
I never set out to hurt anyone
unless it was,
you know,
like a league game or something."
--Dick Butkus--

Football would be my spectator sport of choice, with basketball a close second. Baseball leaves me cold, go figure.

Hey, thank you so much for your comments on my "burnout" post, every visit and comment means so much to me!

Okay - don't dump me and break my heart forever, but I don't watch football unless my Son is playing - which he doesn't, but anyway.

HOWEVER!!! IN MY DEFENSE!!! I DID watch the Saints whoop up on those other guys and LOVED it!!! I don't know if I cheered in all the right spots, but it's okay 'cause they STILL KICKED SOME BUTT!!!

Okay, I'm done.
Thanks for listening. heehee
